Carol joins Thrive IRC with more than 20 years of leadership experience in major and planned giving, capital campaigns, institutional fundraising, and grant development across public K–12 education, the arts, faith-based institutions, and community centered organizations nationwide. She previously served at the University of Central Florida (UCF) as a Grant Writer in the Office of Research and later as an apprentice within UCF’s College of Community Innovation and Education, supporting institutional advancement initiatives in the Educational Leadership graduate program.

A retired professional dancer and award-winning choreographer, Carol also remains a passionate advocate for early literacy and for strengthening teacher training and educational leadership development both nationally and internationally.
